We think that the cover has been our best personal investment – ever, and cannot speak highly enough of it. We have been able to maximize our use of the pool, and have only missed one days swim in the last year!
Without using the solar panel heating, the pool cover combined with the bubble wrap cover has enabled us to achieve constant high water temperatures. When the outside air temperature is 25 degrees then the water temperature has been 38 to 40 degrees, just like a hot bath. We have learned to cool it a bit otherwise it is not a refreshing swim, and Janet has a spinal complaint that is greatly eased by her relaxing in the warm water. We have used far less salt/chemicals and just need to top up the water level occasionally.
